TREES
Another favourite of mine, hope you like it, Will try to take a different line soon.
TREES by Joyce Kilmer
I think that I will never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain,
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
Both Peter & I like trees & have taken
Some nice photos of them.

Trees have always facinated me. Especially the way they (in a sense) breathe in what I breathe out and change it back into something that I can breathe in. ec
Hi Merle, you got busy once you got the bugs out, some nice little bits and pieces, have fun.
