Four Generations.

Photo of four generations, taken on 22nd April 2006 at Gladstone, Q'ld. One of the family photos -- Merle, Daughter Julie, Grand-daughter Samantha and youngest Great-Grand-Daughter Gabrielle aka Gabby aged 2 and a half. She is a real live one, chatterbox and knows everything, unfortunately her sister Tabatha was sick with bronchitis, so did not get the two girls together. You will be pleased to hear that Tabatha is not called Tabby, but Taba , so it's Taba and Gabby. Taba is 7 years old and goes to school.

It's wonderful to have a picture with four generations and such lovely girls too. You must be very proud.

It looks like you enjoyed your trip and you are safely back home...We missed your humour while you were gone. I hope you have come back with some stories to post, for us, of your travels.
Welcome Back!

How beautiful and how happy you all look.

If my mum (now almost 94) lived on this side of the continent, we'd have five. I wonder if there is some way to do a composite. I bet there is.

Child just went through slamming doors.

Sisterly love, no doubt. I think I'll stay out of it unless I see blood flowing down the hallway.

What a wonderful picture Merle. We took a 4-generations picture a couple of Xmas's ago. You all look great, and Gabby is adorable. I can see the pride in your face. Looks like it was a great trip.

A wonderful photo, Merle, and very cute names for the children. I have a 4 generations photo of my dad, me, my daughter and her first child - and even though it is not a very good shapshot, it is precious to me.

Nice photo and great story of the names. Tabby and Gabby would sound a bit funny. Hope Tabby feels better soon. I think I'll have to encourage a 4 generation photo this summer when my family is together. does it count if they aren't my kids but my brother's kids? Hmmm

Hi Merle, lovely photo, the kids never really change, I would know Julie anywhere even though it has been a very long time.

Glad you think my travel posts are a good idea. Dont know whether to continue straight on with them, or do it in batches. I was away for three months and there is a fair bit to tell. luv jacqui

Kia Ora (hello) from that krazy blogger down under in New Zealand. Great photo. I am going to hurry up & learn how to scan photos on to my blogs. One of my sisters has a photo of 5 generations at least 20 years ago.
