Garden of Daily Living.

Another poem from Sandy, aka Abandoned in Pasadena.

I posted this one, way back in January, but it is worth another run. Thanks Sandy.

My younder son, Geoff and his wife, Joanne are coming up

tomorrow. They are coming after work, and will

stay a night. It will be nice to see them.

GARDEN OF YOUR DAILY LIVING, PLANT THREE ROWS OF PEAS:

1. Peace of mind 2. Peace of heart 3. Peace of soul

PLANT FOUR ROWS OF SQUASH: 1. Squash gossip 2. Squash indifference 3. Squash grumbling 4. Squash selfishness

PLANT FOUR ROWS OF LETTUCE:

1. Lettuce be faithful

2. Lettuce be kind

3. Lettuce be patient

4. Lettuce really love one another

NO GARDEN IS WITHOUT TURNIPS:

1. Turnip for meetings 2. Turnip for service & esp; 3. Turnip to help one another TO CONCLUDE OUR GARDEN WE MUST HAVE THYME:

1. Thyme for each other 2. Thyme for family 3. Thyme for friends

WATER FREELY WITH PATIENCE AND CULTIVATE WITH LOVE. THERE IS MUCH FRUIT IN YOUR GARDEN BECAUSE YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW

<><><><><><><> Joke of the Day <><><><><><><>

James Bond walked into a bar and takes a seat next to a

very attractive woman.

He gives her a quick glance, then casually looks at his

watch for a moment.

The woman notices this and asks: “Is your date

running late?”

“No,” Bond replies. “Q has given me this state –of-the-art

watch. I was just testing it.

The intrigued woman says: “A state-of-the-art watch?

What’s so special about it?”

Bond explains: “It uses alpha waves to talk to me

telepathically.”

“Well, what is it telling you now?”

“Well to be perfectly frank,” says Bond. “It says you

are not wearing any knickers!”

The woman giggled and replied, “Well it must be broken

because I assure you I am.”

Bond looks momentarily puzzle

Then he taps his watch, grins and says “Wouldn’t you know

it! Bloody thing’s an hour fast.”

<><><><><><><><> A thought <><><><><>

A rich person has many treasures;

a wise person treasures many friendships.

I love the garden story. I might have to use that in some of my artwork. I'm sorry I haven't been over here lately Merle. I've been so busy I haven't had much time/energy to read.

I'm glad to see you're doing well. Take gentle care sweet lady.
