Happy Birthday Janice

My blogging friend Janice is having a birthday on the 16th May.

I hope you have a great day Janice. You can wish her a Happy Birthday

at http://ladyjanice.blogspot.com/

Bubba ~~ Thanks for your comment. I could not reach your blog today.

Another day almost over. I had my 3 monthly check-up at

my Doctor today, and all is well. Blood pressure and diabetes

all doing the right thing. Now I can have a chocolate.!!

<><><>

Today I got the most beautiful Happy Grandmother’s Day card

from my grand-daughter who we visited recently on the outskirts

of Brisbane. Thank you so much Bec, you chose a beautiful card

as usual And yes, I cried! Love you.

<><><><><> A joke John sent me. <><><><>

Man and Wife at Restaurant A man and his wife are dining at a table in a plush restaurant, and the husband keeps staring at an old drunken lady swigging her gin as she sits alone at a nearby table, until the wife asks, "Do you know her?

"Yes," sighs the husband, "She's my ex-wife. She took to drinking right after we divorced seven years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since."

"My God!" says the wife, "Who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?"

<><><><> MEN’S THESAURUS> <><><><>

“I’m going fishing” Means: I’m going to drink myself dangerouslystupid, and stand by a stream with a stick in my hand, while the fish swim by in complete safety.

“Can I help with dinner?” Means: Why isn’t it already on the table?

“Uh Huh”, “Sure Hon”, or “Yes Dear” Means: Absolutely nothing. It is a conditional response.

“Take a break Honey, You’re working too hard.” Means: I can’t hear the game over the vacuum cleaner.

“That’s interesting Dear.” Means Are you still talking?

“Oh, Don’t fuss, I just cut myself, it’s no big deal.” Means: I have actually severed a limb, but will bleed to death before I admit that I’m hurt.

“I can’t find it.” Means: It didn’t fall into my outstreched hands, so I’m completely clueless.

“What did I do this time?” Means: What did you catch me at?

“You know I could never love anyone else.” Means: I am used to the way you yell at me, and I realise it could be worse.

“I’m not lost. I know exactly where we are.” Means: No one will ever see us alive again.

“We share the housework.” Means: I make the messes, and she cleans them up.

It's always nice to get a good report at the doctor's. Doctor visits have always stressed me out for some reason. I really dislike going to them; but I usually feel better when I do. Happy Chocolate Merle.
