Recipe for Life.

Hi Everyone ~~ I hope all is well with your part of the world.

All well this end. I was amazed this morning to hear on the

radio the song I mentioned a couple of days ago ~~ “It’s a

lovely day tomorrow”. It wasn’t Frank Sinatra, I didn’t hear

who it was. SO I am convinced that Tomorrow will be a

lovely day. I cannot remember when I heard thatsong last.

<><><><>

<><><> A Recipe for Life. <><><>

Take two parts of unselfishness and one part of patience.

Work them together, add plenty of industry, lighten with

good spirits, and sweeten with kindness. Add good deeds

as thickly as raisins in a plum pudding, and bake with warmth

from a tender heart.

<><><><>

Warning : If the recipe fails, don’t blame it --- you’re just

a bad cook.

<><><><>

Now for a joke sent to me by Jen who is the mother of

triplets. I hadn’t heard this one before. Thanks Jen.

<><><><>

An Australian married man and an Italian woman have a love

affair. She becomes pregnant. He confides to her that if

anyone found out about the affair, his life and marriage

would be ruined. He then tells the woman that he will fully

support the child once it is born. All she needs to do is send

him a post-card writing “Spaghetti “on it when baby arrives

.

<><><><>

Nine months later, the man comes home from work to see

his wife holing a post-card with a perplexed look on her face.

She hands him the card and says “I don’t understand this…..

it makes no sense. The man looks at the card and instantly

faints.

<><><><>

On the card it read….. Spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti.

One with meat balls, two without!!!!

<><><><><><><>

You are riding a bike at a constant speed, On your left side is

a deep valley. On your right is a fire engine travelling at the

same speed as you.

<><><>

In front of you is a galloping pig which is the same size as your

bike and you cannot overtake it, Behind you is a helicopter

flying at ground level Both the giant pig and the helicopter are

also travelling at your speed.

<><><>

You are on a blind bend, What must you do to get out of this

highly dangerous situation?

Get off the children’s Merry-go- round, you’ve had too much to

drink.

<><><><><>

The rules of friendship are simple and true.

Do unto your friends as you’d have them do;

<><><><>

Friendships are like flowers – some last a few days, some last

much longer. The best ones will thrive if they’re given tender

loving care.

Well that is it as I am tired, just after midnight here, so it’s

already tomorrow. Bye folks – I’ll be back, Merle

Merle,
I must say you have become somewhat addictive to my husband! He was sitting nearby and reading his newspaper and I was blogging.(I was reading Tammy's post) He wanted to know what the "joke of the day" was today!! I had to jump over here and see what you had posted!
(We shared a good laugh over spaghetti)
Thanks for letting us both start the day with a laugh!

thanks for the laughs and the good advice snippets.

It's funny how often that happens - something you hear or see just keeps popping up everywhere - these days I have learned to listen for the rest of the message ..
